Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Pick up from your hotel at 8am for a safari briefing and then drive to Nakuru to arrive at the park for game viewing with picnic lunch boxes. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru and then dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Depart the camp soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara. Lunch, then we proceed for the evening game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big Five. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of $469 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.
Day 4: Maasai Mara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in Maasai Mara, drive to Serengeti via Isebania border. Enter Serengeti via Ndabaka gate for a full day game drive, we drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch in between. Dinner and overnight stay at the Seronera Campsite.
Day 5: Serengeti National park
Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at the Seronera campsite.
Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro conservation area via Olduvai gorge
We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop over at The Olduvai Gorge with a picnic lunch en route. Then, we drive over to the Olduvai where we spend the night at the Simba campsite on the crater rim.
Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha
Early breakfast, then we descend into the crater for a full morning crater tour. Lunch, then we proceed to Arusha where the tour ends. (You can fly to Zanzibar or drive back to Nairobi).
