Itinerary:
DAY 1: NAIROBI/NAKURU/NAIVASHA
Pick up from hotel or airport and drive through the rift valley with picnic lunch, then proceed to the park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds (about 350 species recorded). This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. Late afternoon drive to Naivasha, arriving in the evening with dinner and overnight stay at a budget hotel.
DAY 2: NAIVASHA/AMBOSELI
After early breakfast visit Hell’s Gate National Park – descending into the gorges, a steep canyon with running water from geysers and wild vegetation and where the rocks have split to leave a walking path. In the afternoon, optionally visit crescent Island for a boat ride as well as a walking safari in the park. Later, depart to Amboseli, arriving in the afternoon. Afterward, we proceed for the evening game drive to see Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as big elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, etc. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
DAY 3: AMBOSELI FULL DAY
The pre-morning game drive will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. You are also guaranteed to see the big elephants, giraffes, lions, etc. again. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
DAY 4: NGORONGORO
After an early breakfast and the morning game drive, we exit the park through Namanga boarder with picnic lunch where our collegue in Tanzania will pick you up and drive you to Ngorongoro, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
DAY 5: NGORONGORO/SERENGETI
After an early breakfast, we descend to the Ngorongoro crater. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen here. This huge caldera or collapsed volcano is 250 square kilometres wide and 600 metres deep. Its spectacular settings and abundance of wildlife makes it one of the natural great wonders of the world. Later in the afternoon proceed to Serengeti with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera camp.
DAY 6: SERENGETI FULL DAY
After breakfast, we proceed for the full day game viewing in Serengeti. Every year, more than a million wildebeests, 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles gather to undertake their long trek to new grazing lands, followed by predators like the lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena. During their trek, more than 8,000 calves are produced per day and thousands are killed by predators. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7: SERENGETI/ARUSHA
After early breakfast and the morning game drive, we depart to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel.
