Nairobi City

Nairobi is the vibrant, chaotic heart of Kenya. It’s a rapidly evolving city in sharp contrast to the timeless calm of the country’s sweeping Savannah, Lakelands, mountain highlands and Indian Ocean coastline. The skyscrapers of Nairobi sit on what was once a large swamp, the local Maasai called this highland swamp e nai’robe – the place of cool water. The phrase is also the Maasai name of the Nairobi River, which in turn lent its name to the city.

Explore the natural beauty of Kenya on Safari

Maasai Mara National Reserve is a beautiful area of preserved Savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. It is home to countless notable species including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos and many more. If you come at the right time, you will be able to witness the infamous annual migration of wildebeest as they traverse the plains of the Maasai Mara. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages of Maasai people.

My name is Bonface!

I’m a tour guide & safari enthusiast based in Nairobi. I have explored my country to quench my thirst for wildlife and its beauty. Visit our people and tribes all over Kenya to find our unique culture. I cannot wait to share that experience with you and explore the inner cores of Kenya together.

For years, I have hosted volunteers from all over the world, taking them to do sightseeing, and on tours and safaris around Kenya to experience the touristic side of Kenya. Now, I’ve decided to open my own business for travellers who want to see a more authentic side of Kenya. A place where you can get a genuine experience and tours where you meet local Kenyans and discover the real African way of life.
